The Preparatory School is located in the village of Hale Barns, south of Manchester. We are conveniently close to major travel hubs of Greater Manchester which is reflected in the 25% of the current pupils coming from localities of over 5 miles away from the school. It shares its grounds with St. Ambrose College. The children in the Juniors department (Year 3-Year 6) are permitted to use the College school buses, which travel to and from a variety of locations in Greater Manchester. We are situated approximately 1 mile from JUNCTION 6 of the M56 and well served by the following public transport links:
- British Rail Link from Chester to Altrincham
- Metrolink from Victoria, Piccadilly and Deansgate-Castlefield stations in Manchester to Altrincham
- Bus numbers 283, 284 and 288 from Altrincham to Hale Barns.
